About Me

I use many different mediums, such as acrylics, oils, watercolors, embedded glazes, color washes, plasters, chalk paint, waxes, micas and leaf gilding and other exclusive covering like JaDecor, a cotton and silk “green” wall covering. I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style as a “one-of-a-kind” finish product to my customers!

Back in 1993, I had the chance to meet whom I like to call my "mentor" Martha Dodd, an accomplished muralist.  She took me under her wing and I quickly "caught the bug" of painting, especially the tropical fauna and flora of SW Florida.  When the opportunity presented itself to fly on my own, I shifted my company focus towards the decorative arts in general, primarily the Art of “Faux-Finishing".

My philosophy is simple:  Never rest on your laurels. I know that my reputation is only as good as my last job. I excel at the fine art of handling even the most difficult of project. In the studio, I'm in total control and my imagination takes flight as I work on sample boards. Hire me, and you'll never see the world around you the same again :-)
